A Reusable Coating for Hard Chrome Plating.

Benefits:

  • MiccroWax is a single-material wax for selective stop-off that is especially suited for masking on complicated parts and sharp edges.
  • MiccroWax will not crack, and may be readily melted for use by any common heating medium.
  • MiccroWax shows a remarkable degree of adhesion, even when used on flat surfaces. It requires no prime coat before application which means only one dip tank is necessary for the complete operation.
  • MiccroWax hardens immediately after the part is dipped, thereby minimizing preparation time and speeding production of parts before plating.
  • MiccroWax can be reused without loss of its efficiency.
  • MiccroWax may be used in most plating cycles as long as cycle temperatures do not exceed the melting point of the wax.
  • MiccroWax may be used in the following types of plating: Hard Chrome Indium Copper Acid Lead Copper Pyro Silver

Characteristics:

  • Weight per Gallon: 7.8 pounds / gallon (When melted)
  • MiccroWax is available in: 10 pound cakes, 5 cakes per carton.

Miccro-Brand Strippers and Reducers

Environmentally-Preferred, Non-flammable remover for MiccroStop, MiccroShield, and MiccroPeel.

Safe Strip "C" is an environmentally-preferred, non-flammable material designed for the removal of Stop-off Lacquers. It is also a cured paint and cured resin solvent. This product is an effective replacement for acetone, methyl ethyl ketone or the chlorinated solvents that have been used to remove the Stop-off Lacquers. It can also replace methylene chloride, toluene, benzene and other hazardous solvents traditionally used for paint clean-up and paint removal. It has a much lower Inhalation Hazard Index than MEK, making it a safer chemical to use in commercial and industrial applications. It is not an ozone depleter.

Masking Wax Removal without Vapor Degreasers or Hazardous Solvents.

Miccro Safe-Strip "D" is specifically designed for removing high-melting solids such as waxes, pitches, greases, fixturing compounds and buffing compounds. Its high flash point and low odor make it ideal for use in applications where elevated temperatures aid in soil removal. Miccro Safe-Strip "D" is particularly effective for removing masking waxes used in metal plating operations and waxes, pitches, and thermoplastics used as fixturing agents in the optics, wafer, and jet engine industries. Miccro Safe-Strip "D" is also effective for removing most common metalworking soils including oils, greases, lubricants, coolants, and dye penetrants.

Safe Strip "F" is an environmentally preferred, non-flammable material designed for the removal of Stop-off Lacquers.

Solvent stripper designed for easy removal of stop-off lacquers.

  • MiccroStrip "A" is specifically designed for the removal of Stop-off Lacquers. The items to be stripped should be fully immersed in MiccroStrip "A" at room temperature for a period of time long enough to dissolve or soften the lacquer to the extent that it can be removed with a soft bristle brush.
  • MiccroStrip "A" should never be used as a lacquer thinner.
  • MiccroStrip "A" is a volatile solvent. Operotors should therefore be cautioned against handling this material without proper safety equipment. In the event it is splashed in the eyes, wash immediately with water and consult with medical personnel as soon as possible. Adequate ventilation should be provided to prevent excessive inhalation of vapors. This material should be stored in a cool place.
  • WARNING: Flammable. Keep away from open fire.
