Respiratory Protection (29 CFR 1910.134) - Training offered by Chemical Distributors, Incorporated

When employees must work in environments with insufficient oxygen or where harmful dusts, fogs, smokes, mists, fumes, gases, vapors, or sprays are present, and engineering controls are inadequate to reduce or eliminate them, respirators are necessary as these health hazards may cause cancer, lung impairment, other diseases, or death.

Having a written respirator plan and training program that conform to the respiratory protection standard are required by OSHA. It is important to understand the differences between a mandatory and voluntary respirator program. We can help your company choose a respirator that best suits your employee's needs, and help you prepare a written plan that includes medical exam requirements, fit testing, and employee training.

Courses may be offered individually or as a package. Our training plan can be customized to meet your needs.

The EH&S division of Chemical Distributors, Incorporated started with an internal need for training and compliance and has expanded with the following offering for all of our customers.
