OSHA 10 and 30 Hour Training General Industry - offered by Chemical Distributors, Incorporated

The 10-hour training program is primarily intended for entry level workers. The 30-hour training program is intended to provide workers who have some safety responsibility a greater depth and variety of training. All outreach training is intended to cover an overview of the hazards a worker may encounter on a job site. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention, not OSHA standards.

OSHA 10-Hour Training:

  • This training program is intended to provide entry level general industry workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent job related hazards on a job site.
  • The training covers a variety of general industry safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter at a work site. Training emphasizes hazard identfication, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards.

OSHA 30-Hour Training:

  • This training program is intended to provide a variety of training to supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards.

About our trainer:

Cindy Shelton is a certified Associate Safety Professional through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, as well as a Registered Environmental Professional through the National Registry of Environmental Professionals. She is also an authorized trainer for OSHA 10 and 30 hour Training in General Industry. In addition, she holds a Master’s degree from Columbia Southern University in Occupational Safety and Health with a concentration in Environmental Management.
